Technology
in the Independent Studio
The Campbells
first incorporated technology in their independent music studio
in 1984. During the ensuing years, they have embraced technological
advances with pedagogical merit, experimented with new approaches
to integrate technology in the teaching environment, and developed
comprehensive procedures for tailoring available technology to
meet individual needs. Their understanding of technology includes:
-
Computers and related hardware
-
Software for all ages and levels of music study (Pre-K through
College), as well as studio management
-
Sequencers and sound modules for music practice, performance,
improvisation, composition and arranging
-
-
The
Campbells are available to serve as consultants on the effective
integration and use of these enhancements in music education. See
Index for Clinics and Workshops. Virginia Franklin Campbell also
serves as a Clinician for Kawai America Corporation, and is available
through Kawai for presentations on digital pianos and sequencers
for music dealers and music associations.
